Melbourne Jewish Wedding Photography
Shalom y’all, Adam + Amira’s Melbourne Jewish Wedding was one of the most amazing Melbourne weddings I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. I have been a part of Melbourne Jewish Wedding photography for a few years now and this Melbourne Wedding takes the cake, although there are typically no wedding cakes at a Jewish Wedding, excuse the pun.
I think a few things need to be explained about a Jewish Wedding so you can have a deeper understanding of what it is that is actually going on. So with that said let’s dive in!
If there’s one thing we know and love about Jewish weddings, it’s that they always involve some serious partying. Expect a long night of dancing,
This modern Melbourne Jewish wedding is such a feast for the eyes. From Amira’s incredible wedding gown by One Day Bridal, the stylish chuppah they married under at the grandparents place in Toorak, the incredible dancing, the sense of family and community that comes through every ritual of the day.
Long story short, it was amazing to be a part of this Melbourne Jewish Wedding Photography!
What was also amazing was the styling from The Big Group, The Floral craziness from none other than Cecila Fox, Glass Haus Nursery my goodness, this installation must of taken forever to set up at the Melbourne Pavillion, stellar effort by everyone including C2 Films who captured this Melbourne Jewish Wedding Perfectly!
The rituals associated with Jewish weddings begin as soon as a couple are engaged, with a ceremony known as tena’im. It involves breaking a plate to symbolise the destruction of the temples in Jerusalem, as a reminder that even in the midst of celebration Jews still feel sadness for their loss. This is a theme that is repeated at the ceremony of itself with the breaking of the glass. Then the party begins!
